Profish Adventures offers world class guided Salmon, Steelhead and Halibut Sport fishing in Nootka Sound, BC, Canada, off the West coast of Vancouver Island, BC.
Our BC guided sport fishing operation has moved to Nootka Sound BC full time, and will be operating from May until October to offer you our customer the best BC fishing adventure for trophy Chinook and Coho Salmon as well as retention of Halibut, Lingcod and Red Snapper.

Our team of courteous, safe, clean-cut, professional, fishing guides have taken MEDA3 Training (Marine Emergency Duties) and have a lifetime of local BCfishing experience. Their proven track records ensure our guests have an enjoyable and safe BC fishing adventure. All of our guides are versatile and experienced in the styles and techniques of sport fishing used here on the West coast of Vancouver Island BC.
BC Salmon Fishing
Our fishing guides will show you light tackle techniques such as buck tailing and motor-mooching with cut plug herring. Light tackle trolling with down riggers or weights are also popular methods. Using our own hand-made artificial spoons, lures and Buck tail flies make the BC Sport fishing experience that much better!
We like to have our guests involved out on the water, whether it's to help steer the boat, hold the fishing rod or just set the hook when that monster Chinook strikes! Our guides won't grab the rod and set the hook on your fish for you - that takes away from your fishing experience! Just imagine holding onto your fishing rod when a trophy Chinook or aggressive Coho strikes on light tackle and single action reels - it's an experience our West Coast guides want you to experience first-hand! This light tackle fishery is a must for west Coast anglers.

Off-shore Halibut fishing is great here on the West Coast of Vancouver Island ! These delicious "chickens of the sea" can weight in at 100 pounds or more!
